One could argue there’s no better time, our borders are closed, campgrounds will be uncrowded. But the NZMCA are wisely saying ‘Keep Calm, stay safe- and stay at home!’ You can read their full press release HERE
On Wednesday 25 May 11.59 pm we move to level 4. Level 4 is shut down for the next 4 weeks. This means STAY AT HOME. It is a fast evolving situation, so please check news outlets. Department of Conservation campsites are now closed.
To clarify the terminology;
If you travelled to New Zealand from any country you should self-isolate for 14 days from your date of departure. If you arrived more than 14 days ago, you do not need to self-isolate.
If you have been in close contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19, you should self-isolate for 14 days from the date of contact.

In a nutshell, Top 10 are allowing people to Self Isolate as long as they are Self-Contained and do not use communal facilities.
