The Cabrio Skydancer was another crazy camper we saw in the flesh at the Parma RV show last October. In fact the Skydancer stole the show with queues of happy punters wanting to get a closer look. The Skydancer is still a pricey bit of kit, but not as exorbitant as you’d think, coming in at about 180,000nzd. Yeah ok, it’s up there.

The Skydancer is based on a Fiat Ducato chassis. The German inventor/designer Piotr Kubinski wanted to achieve a higher driving point. Very basically there is a platform constructed in the front and then the driving cabin is on top of this. There is also storage under the front cabin.


And that roof! Yep that cocktail deck is pretty damn cool. There are four seats, as you can see from the images, the front two rotate to create a lounge and at night convert to a second double bed.
