Like Volkswagen, Mercedes have been marketing their own topline campers for quite a few years now. It’s probably not quite what the Recreationalist’s demographic want, the Marco Polo vans are essentially high-end weekenders. That said they are certainly within and in fact below the some of the new NZ van fit outs price wise, with the V250 retailing at about $110,000 nzd… not counting getting it to NZ. They are beautifully appointed with some really clever innovations.
The 2020 Mercedes Marco Polo has been revamped and modernised to include Mercedes Benz Automated Control, an app-controlled smart home system that control everything from the lighting, the temperature, to the pop top roof. You never have to leave your Mercedes embroidered deck chair again.
